About the Author
During his fifty-five-year career, Clifford D. Simak produced some of the most iconic science fiction stories ever written. Born in 1904 on a farm in southwestern Wisconsin, Simak got a job at a small-town newspaper in 1929 and eventually became news editor of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, writing fiction in his spare time.

Simak was best known for the book City, a reaction to the horrors of World War II, and for his novel Way Station. In 1953 City was awarded the International Fantasy Award, and in following years, Simak won three Hugo Awards and a Nebula Award. In 1977 he became the third Grand Master of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, and before his death in 1988, he was named one of three inaugural winners of the Horror Writers Association’s Bram Stoker Award for Lifetime Achievement.

This is one of the sweetest children's picture books. The illustrations are amazing and the message of the story is so touching. My children are 19 and 23, but I still buy them picture books that move me and on the first page I write my own personal message to them. This book was one of them.

I love this so much! I got this for my son- for his teachers to sign over the years then to give to him at graduation from high school. It was so perfect and I love the wording and meaning in the book. it is just perfect.

This book is exceptional. I kinda wished there were books like this when I was growing up. I wish you more is fabulous. I used this book for my child's birthday party guestbook. Great book. It should be read to all children. :)

I know this is a children's book, but the sentiment is so sweet, sincere, and cute, that it's a good little lift me up mini gift for adults as well as kids.

What a great story for any person that is important to you, no matter their age! I bought this for a graduation gift but read it to my children first with tears in my eyes. It's what any parent wishes for their child(ren).

LOVE! I bought this book for one of my granddaughters who is currently 6 and now in first grade. I purchased when she was graduating kindergarten with the intent of having all of her teachers sign it as she progresses thru school. I've done this for all of the kids and like to get each of them a different book, not the same title. This one is a great one for this purpose! She will receive the book when she graduates high school!

I bought this to send to a school in Bangladesh that teaches Rohingya refugee children. Thought they would like it. They did. Came in like new condition. Smallish book so kids don't have a hard time turning pages. The message is sweet. Wishing better life to the characters of the book. that the children reading it can identify with it.

I absolutely love this book. Forget about Dr. Seuss and The places you will go, this is my favorite book to read to my little ones and to give as gifts to my friends with little ones. So simple and so true.

This is a really good bible cover,I would recommend this. The only thing with mine as that on 2 sides there was each a small cut. But it is nothing much. So don't freak out! It looks like the cut will stop at the thread. But I do want to warn you. I got the purple color and if you're like me & like purple....Get this. The inside is a girlish purple (but seeing I love purple it didn't matter to me!), The outside (Metallic print) is more of a raspberry pink/ purple, the handles are a raspberry purple and it is very beautiful. It is very roomy and it has a small pocket in the inside for a small notebook and it has pen holder, it has 2 side pockets in the outside... (both beside the zipper.)and they come into use a lot. On one of these side pockets it has a small pocket inside it. The handles are very good and sturdy. The cross on the outside is very "cute" and it goes right in with the purple.. seeing it is silver. I totally want to encourage you to get this. I haven't had it very long but I LOVE it. This a very good product and it is really great. Get It! :)

My wife needed a new bible cover to replace one which was falling apart at the seams. This one was reasonably priced and apparently better made than the one it succeeded. The picture does not do it justice; it is even prettier than the photo suggests. If you need a new bible cover with durable handles, this one is hard to beat!

THIS IS A VERY ELEGANT BIBLE CASE, IT HAS HIDDEN COMPARTMENTS THAT WAS A PLEASENT SUPERISE . I LIKE THE REINFORCED HANDLES BECAUSE I AM VERY HARD ON MY CASES AND IT STILL LAST EVEN AFTER ALL THESE MONTHS. I LIKE THE DARK PINK HANDLES, AND THE HOW IT KEEPS ME ORGANIZED

My wife loves this for her Bible. It is really nice and holds it in place. The color and design was nice. The only issue she has is the little leather straps near the case keep sliding up.

Just what I expected, my Bible and Sunday school book fit great in it and has plenty of pocket's and a pen holder, love the color and everything about it!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and we got it in time. She really likes it. It looks real elegant and holds her bible nicely.
